Random Thoughts
Okaaay... so, I have a Twitter page but I don't know all of the functions yet. I really like it so far but I'm following CNN and the updates are sent as text messages to my phone and it's really starting to get depressing. At 9AM this morning I got a text saying 6 people had died! I know it's important to know what's going on in the world but that kinda text is not something I want to wake up to. However, it made me pray even harder in church today. I thank God for my life and for the lives of my love ones. It gave me an idea... a while ago we discussed taking one Sunday out of the Month to go out and witness but we never got a chance to. I had printed out these really cool checks that have on the front that Jesus Paid It All! I love those :) I found them on a trip to South Carolina in an old restaurant. On the back it gives scriptures and encouraging quotes. They really are Perfect. I'll upload them later.
I got an unexpected pop quiz today from a friend that was concerning what I learned in church today. It's really good for me to take notes because I forget things often. I enjoy being challenged when it comes to scriptures because it makes me want to read my Bible and learn more. So, I reached for my church note book and found the following scripture- Ezekiel 14:6
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

2 Chronicles 7:14
King James Bible
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Thank God for his love and mercy! I plan to try to leave a scripture with every post! I'm soo happy to be off tomorrow that I'm probably going to be up really late :) Be blessed!

What I love right now :) Music, Clothes and more...
My birthday was last weekend and I had the perfect day ever. I woke up and put a flower in my hair and a smile on my face. My life is blessed :) I have been totally feeling the Retro-flower/peacock or headband in hair-peep toe wedge sandals look lately:) Sometimes I dress like I'm from the 50's! LOL! I used to wear flowers in my hair all the time. It may seem odd but I always have a good day when I wear one... It gives me a sunny outlook on everything! Next week I plan to try out putting my hair in a bun. I have to buy new glasses so why not go full out Librarian :) It's after midnight and I should be in bed but I just finished talking to a good friend and watching the BarlowGirl video called, Sing Me A Love Song. I loved that video. Check it out! It kinda made me want to cry. I loved how they included the scripture in 1Peter chatpter 3:4 We should totally let the beauty that God puts in our hearts shine on the outside and have a quiet and meek spirit :) Kudos to BarlowGirl!! I listen to there music everyday. I also love Melinda Watts new song called, Happy! Because... well, I JUST AM! :)
